SCUBA REFRESHER - 2 Boat Dives
Designed to refresh and update the knowledge and skills of certified divers who have been inactive or out of the water for a period of time. Whether you're a newly certified diver looking to brush up on your skills or an experienced diver who hasn't dived in a while, the Scuba Refresher program is an excellent way to regain confidence and ensure your diving skills are up to date. Here's a detailed description of the program:
1. Knowledge Review: The Scuba Refresher program begins with a review of important diving knowledge. You'll go over key concepts, dive planning, equipment assembly and usage, dive tables or dive computer usage, hand signals, emergency procedures, and safety protocols.
2. Confined Water Session: After the knowledge review, you'll have a confined water session in a controlled environment. Under the guidance of a PADI Instructor, you'll review and practice essential scuba skills, including equipment setup and pre-dive checks, mask clearing, regulator recovery, buoyancy control, and emergency procedures such as out-of-air situations and buddy assists.
3. Open Water Dive: During the open water dive, you'll apply the knowledge and skills learned in a real diving environment. This dive provides an opportunity to practice buoyancy control, navigation, and general dive techniques while exploring the underwater world.
Throughout the Scuba Refresher program, the focus is on ensuring your knowledge is up to date and your skills are sharp. The program allows you to review and refresh your understanding of diving principles and safety procedures, practice important skills in a controlled setting, and regain confidence before returning to diving or continuing your dive education.
Meeting Point: Marina Fonatur
