RECREATIVE EXCURSIONS AND COURSES

Modifying your booking.
You can change your activity at the discretion of CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. of C.V (Go Divers), subject to weather and availability, up to 48 hours in advance with a $25USD fee per person. Your new activity date will have to be within the next 6 months from the original date.

Cancellation by the client.
If the client does not show up or cancels less than 48 hours before the course, diving or snorkel tour; or arrives after it has started, or abandons it before finishing, no refund will be made, unless there is a previous agreement between CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. of C.V (Go Divers) and the Client that only part of the Course, Diving or Snorkeling Tour will be performed. For Christmas, New Year, Easter and Easter, the notice of cancellation is extended to seven days before the activity. If the client cancels his activity, the deposit is not transferable to any other person.

For cancellations due to illness or medical conditions that deprive the client of performing the activity, we will require a medical certificate in writing. In this case we will do our best to reschedule without extra cost. If it is not possible to reschedule, the client will receive a full refund of the activity that was not performed.

If a client cancels his course, the refund will not include the E-learning nor the manuals.

Cancellation by the company.
All our activities depend a lot on the weather and CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. de C.V (Go Divers) reserves the right in any circumstance to cancel the tour. In case CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. C.V (Go Divers) can’t provide the tour booked, we will return to the client the deposits paid or CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. de C.V (Go Divers) will offer the client an alternative tour. If the alternative tour is rejected by the client, CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. de C.V (Go Divers) reserves the right to deduct the administrative costs resulting from such transactions.

Changes on the itinerary.
Although we strive to adhere to the itinerary and diving agenda, CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. de C.V (Go Divers) reserves the right to alter the diving schedule and itineraries at any time if the client requires it or if it is necessary due to weather conditions.
CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. de C.V (Go Divers) will not be responsible for any compensation to the client if CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. CV (Go Divers) is forced to cancel or change tours due to major forces such as war, riots, coup, demonstrations, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disasters, fires, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion or any situation beyond the control of CHINCHORRO TRAVEL SA of C.V (Go Divers).

Authority on the Tour / Exclusion from the Tour
The decision of the driver / Divemaster / Instructor employed by CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. C.V (Go Divers) will be final in any circumstance that could put the safety of the group at risk. CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. C.V (Go Divers) will not be responsible for any customer who commits an illegal or unlawful act of any kind. The client can be excluded from the tour / course without refund of his tour / course, if CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. de C.V (Go Divers) considers the client not fit to perform the tour / course, may at its absolute discretion cancel his reservation or refuse to continue later with the client if this causes danger, inconvenience or inconvenience to other customers. If the clients are under the influence of alcohol / drugs before the activity, the tour will be canceled without refund.
We know that sometimes you may find that diving is not for you or that your instructor decides that you need more one-on-one training to complete your diving program. In this case you will be offered a snorkel program or return later. This is at the discretion of the instructor. No refund will be made if you discover that the dive is not for you or if the instructor recommends that you return when you have improved your swimming skills or your confidence in the water is greater.

Cancellations with more than 30 days before the start of the course or excursion.
100% refund deducting payment charges. *

Cancellation 30 to 10 days before the start of the course or excursion.
50% of your registration will be charged. (If you have another candidate to replace you, the full refund applies) *

Cancellation 72 hours prior the start of your course or excursion.
No refunds apply.

Cancellations due to illness or any other medical condition that prevents the client from taking his course or excursion: we will need a written statement from a doctor, in this case we will do our best to reschedule the course at no extra charge. If reschedule is not possible at that time, the customer will receive a voucher that will be valid for three consecutive years.
CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. de C.V (Go Divers) advises you to obtain trip cancellation insurance with your local insurer for these cases, so you will get a refund for any medical condition.

Cancellation or termination without prior notice.
No refunds apply.

GENERAL POLICIES OF CHINCHORRO TRAVEL SA DE CV (Go Divers)

The complete registration must be transferred 30 days before the date of the beginning of your course.

Cancellations by CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. of C.V (Go Divers) due to any reason will be 100% refundable. *

Cancellations due to illness while taking your course or excursion, will not be refundable. Our team will reschedule the remaining modules for another day or another course.

* A 7.5% charge applies.

Refunds by bank transfer can be made up to 45 days after the transaction date.

LEGAL INFORMATION

CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. de C.V (Go Divers) is a registered company in Mexico, and follows all regulations imposed on any company operating in Mexico. This means that we are a 100% legal entity, we declare taxes and we follow the common business rules.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR DIVERS
All clients that book diving excursions with CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. C.V (Go Divers) must show proof of certification (through their relevant certification agency) of the minimum level required before they can dive. If you do not submit a proof of your certification, you will not be able to dive and you will lose the paid deposits.

HELATH REQUIREMENTS
The Client acknowledges being aware of the proposed trip / course and confirms that he or she is medically fit, in good health and is able to embark on the trip / course. Any client with a pre-existing medical condition or illness must declare the true nature of such condition at the time of booking. Such a Client would be required to provide a general medical certificate stating that they are “fit to carry out diving and / or snorkeling”. CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. C.V (Go Divers) and its representatives will treat any information in the strictest confidence.

PAYMENTS
Partial or full payment is required on reservations for diving excursions, snorkeling and dive training.
For the seasons of Christmas, New Year and Easter, full payment of all reservations is required.
The payment of the activity to be carried out must be done in full before all the courses and snorkel tours.

INFORMATION
The information that appears in all the brochures, triptychs, web page, emails and publicity is given in good faith by CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. of C.V (Go Divers) and these are based on the most recent information available at the date of publication. CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. C.V (Go Divers) reserves the right to change any of the facilities, vehicles or boats described in the brochures, leaflets, web page, emails or any other advertising without being subject to reimbursement or compensation. Although we make the effort to maintain our prices announced in our brochures, triptychs, website, emails and advertising CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. de C.V (Go Divers) reserves the right to increase its prices at any time due to any increase or fluctuation of the unforeseen exchange rate to which it may be subject. Surcharges cannot be applied after confirming the reservation.

PHOTOGRAFIC MATERIAL
Customers should be aware that the team of CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. de C.V (Go Divers) can take pictures or videos of clients during tours and CHINCHORRO TRAVEL S.A. de C.V (Go Divers) reserves the right to use such material for the production of any advertising or brochures without the client’s consent or payment.
